Ruth was our physio and chief medic on our charity walk for Macmillan stopping at all the main cricket grounds around the country, which involved keeping our feet and bodies going for 500 miles over four weeks! She had previously supported Jerry Guscott on a similar feat so we knew we were in good hands. Not only did she have to massage out all our aches and pains on a daily basis, but had to manage and 'cure' ongoing niggles that kept appearing to ensure we could walk the next day.
